AliExpress Delivery Selection Standard
AliExpress Selection Standard is one of the proprietary delivery methods offered to customers on the AliExpress platform. It is used to send international parcels from China to other countries around the world. The transport logistics are handled by Cainiao, which, like AliExpress, belongs to the Alibaba Group.
The seller creates an electronic waybill in Cainiao’s system and the parcel is then given a unique tracking number to fix its route. The buyer’s order is then passed on to a parcel collection point. From there, the parcel is forwarded with other parcels to AliExpress sorting centres.
This means that orders delivered by AliExpress Selection Standard, arrive only at the state post offices. This is the main difference between this delivery method and AliExpress Standard Shipping, which involves transportation in the recipient’s country by both postal and courier services.
Tracking parcels by tracking number
Although AliExpress Selection Standard is most often provided to shoppers as a free delivery of orders from AliExpress. There is also a budget variant of this parcel shipping method – AliExpress Selection Saver.
Delivery time
Delivery time depends on the location of the seller and the buyer, weather conditions, and delays at customs and postal service.
