Processing time and delivery from AliExpress
To understand how long your order will take on AliExpress, it’s important to know how orders are processed on this well-known website. Once we hit the payment button and our payment is confirmed, the seller starts to prepare our order. It may take a few hours or a few days, depending on the size of the package, if the seller has had many sales lately… We can see how long the seller asks for to prepare the order before purchase, as you can see in the image below (can only be seen in the mobile app). However, even though it usually takes 9 days for sellers to prepare an order, in 2-3 days your order will be on its way home.
If the seller doesn’t dispatch the order, you will get your money back automatically, using the same payment method you used. But this usually doesn’t happen, except in very rare cases, usually when you are ready, you get a notification that the package has been dispatched. This is when the delivery time starts.
How long will it take to deliver an order from AliExpress?
When you purchase an item, the seller tells us an estimated delivery time. This is a rough estimate depending on the delivery method chosen, but the actual time it takes to deliver an Aliexpress order depends on several main factors, which we will explain below.
Often people ask “How long does it take to send a parcel from China?”, I answer that it usually takes about 30 days to reach Russia or Moscow. When ordering any item, you should roughly be guided by this time.
Aliexpress delivery method
There are many shipping methods from Aliexpress, but the main difference is that they are sent by private courier (dhl, cdek, fedex, ups …) and the rest. If you bought an item sent by private courier, your parcel will arrive in record time, but you may have to pay customs fees, which happens in most cases.
For all other shipping methods, the time depends on the shipping company. Depending on the country you are in, AliExpress may deal with local couriers, so delivery will be faster. Country of order dispatch
Aliexpress ships goods to almost anywhere in the world, but they will ship much faster to countries with a lot of overseas orders and which have a good public postal service. Generally, shipping from Aliexpress takes 3 to 4 weeks (when shipped from China), but the buyer protection time is 60 days, and depending on the time of year or destination country it may take you up to 60 days to receive it. However, it is best to see the forecast offered by the seller and keep in mind that it is always possible that it might take longer.

Your orders may take longer when there are many orders, such as the famous 11.11 or Christmas. This is because too many orders are piling up in China and also because when the order arrives in Russia, the local postal service may also be overwhelmed.
We also need to take into account China’s national holidays, where the whole country celebrates. For example, the Chinese New Year, which is celebrated at the beginning of February, usually lasts one or two weeks, so if you buy on these dates, delivery of your orders may take longer than usual.
A way to get your goods in record time
One of the big advantages of AliExpress over other websites is the ability to get your goods from a warehouse in your country. This will greatly reduce the waiting time and eliminate the possibility of possible customs charges.
